Greetings,
We at Ideal World Concept Organization (IWCO) send our warm greetings to our entire
members worldwide. And with great enthusiasm, we wish to invite groups, youths, women
and youth focused organizations to be part of our forthcoming combined international
conference on child labour, abuse and neglect taking place in the United States and the
United Kingdom respectively. The combined conferences are of two segments.
The first segment shall commence in Andalusia, Alabama USA on 16th till 19th June, 2009.The venue is BLUE LAKE AUDITORIUM, 8569 Oakwood lane, Andalusia, Alabama 36241, USA.
The second segment shall take place in London from 22nd till 25th June, 2009 at FLOSSIES CONFERENCE CENTRE Station Road, East Tisted, Near Alton, Hampshire, GU34 3QP, United Kingdom.
THE OBJECTIVES:
1. To discuss the root causes of child labour, abuse and neglect in order to help in
eradicating these social ills.
2. To re-educate and enlighten the youths and adults about these social vices and
also promote community organizing as a tool to re-connect people to each other with
a common goal of building safe, supportive and good communities.
3. To create spaces for the youths of the world to acquire the power of collective action,
critical dialogue and community organizing to undermine child labour, abuse and neglect.
4. To equip the youth and adult participants especially women with vital tools and know-how.
This will aid them in conducting such workshops amongst youths and women in their various
countries.
We have noticed that this is an incredible means of interacting with different organizations
of the world on a particular issue as it affects youths, women, children and adults. Moreover, funding may be provided for individuals from qualifying organizations. Provisions have been made for all delegates to this event, all round tickets, feeding and accommodation in USA by our sponsors. Please note that all delegates will take care of their feeding and accommodation in the UK as the resources of (IWCO) do not cover that.
CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION:
Only groups with member delegates between the numbers of five (5) minimum and ten (10) maximum selected would be allowed to participate from each of the selected countries. Also individuals who do not belong to any of the organizations but are sincerely interested to participate should form a group of at least five and then apply as group. Please note that all participants MUST be part of the two segments (U.S.A. and U.K.) or their registration forms will not be processed by the IWCO secretariat.
MODE OF APPLICATION:
Interested organizations should forward the following information about their organization.
1. Aims and objectives of their organization.
2. Organization profile.
3. Achievements so far.
N.B. All intending participants are expected to direct their responses to the coordinator WILLSON DIVINE at willsondivine.iwco@gmail.com for more details. Oh My God. I was shocked when I found out about 30 minutes ago that the IWCO Confrence was a SCAM. I am currently preparing youths to send to the conference.
Thanks to whoever that came up with the blog.spot message and shame you the SCAMMER.
Here's a second version of the spam, with the scam aspect more clearly present: they'll cover the conference fees for you (the bait) except the hotel rooms (the hook). They try to con you into sending money to someone via Western Union on the pretext that it's a hotel booking fee. It's not a hotel: it's the scammer getting his pay-off.

Here in Papua New Guinea we through the office of UNESCO amd National Youth Commission intend to send four youths but later the SCAM was discovered and thank you for those we found it out.
Shame on to those con people in South Africa.

A little further digging shows that this scam is a re-hash of an older scam called "Inter Centre Organization (ICO)" (intercentre.org). The convention locations are identical (although the dates have changed), and the websites use exactly the same layout.
Oh, and in answer to the person above who asked, "why would someone do this?" Isn't it obvious? It's a scam: they do it for the money.
Oh My God!!! ve lost my 220 pounds... i applieed as an individual delegate.. what should i do now...

Check out this one:

Yes, the "Inter Welfare Organization" is clearly the same scam with a different name. The conference venues are exactly the same, and they are offering to cover all costs except UK hotel bookings -- that's the hook.
The domain name "interwelfare.org" was registered on 29-Jun-2009 at 11:09:33 UTC.
Vacomana mbavha dzawanda, this is not on they should stop it i know someone affected
There is a new one circulating which uses mostly the same content but is called the "Ideal Global Concept Organization".
They want you to give them money to book hotels for a conference that does not exist.

We also send greetings to all our members with much regards to all volunteers and sponsors of our events. Of all, the tools at our disposal to promote the security of people, none offers great potential than the one we are using. Yet this medium of fighting against child labour, abuse and neglect is still to be used to its fullest. We are only at the beginning of the curve in determining the potential of this new tool. As we see the explosion of public enterprises, e-commerce and integrated networks that is driving the private sector ahead, we need an equivalent boost to serve the public good and to also advance the welfare and safety of individual world over.
PROVISIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS:
All intending participants to this forthcoming conference in USA and UK must put many things into considerations before taking decision to participate in this event. Provisions have been made for participants which include all round flight tickets, feeding and accommodation in the US. These will be taken care of by our sponsors. Delegates will take care of their hotel reservation in the UK during the second conference as our sponsors did not make provisions for that. The delegate who needs the authorization of the USA visas to participate in this event must pay for the hotel reservations in the UK while our sponsors would pay the hotel bills for all delegates in the USA . Note that delegates MUST attend the two segments of the conference.
If you have considered thus, then you should give us the go ahead by reaching us with the particulars of your delegates to the US bureau of immigrant affairs to open your visa file by sending email to us with the participants names and passports as soon as you have verified. This will enable us know those that are coming for the conference really and must go back to their countries after the combine conference. Delegates should contact the secretary for details of the selected hotels which are close to the venue of the event and at cheaper rates. In order to receive the conference materials as well as other information, contact the coordinator: Geoff Richardson.
Yours faithfully
